Wheel Hub Bearing Locknut Wrench

An old socket (ID larger than the sliding top hat
spacer) with most of the teeth hogged. Cut some
slots and made some little ears. 1)
Cut a stepped bar in the lathe to fit the bearings. The
big end got pressed into the socket. The step sits
3/16” below the business end of the socket. 2)
Held it together with a hose clamp for welding. 3)
