====== 1965-1966 XLH ======
  * **Battery**, (2) small 6 volt batteries (66001-61A) were wired in series to make 12 volts.
  * **Positive Battery Cable**
    * Interconnecting cable between the two batteries (70033-63).
    * Battery to regulator (70245-65).
  * **Negative Battery Cable** (70213-65).

  * **Negative Battery Cable**
    * 1967-1972 XLH (70235-67).

====== 1970-1978 XLCH ======
  * **Battery** (66006-70), single small 12 volt battery
  * **Positive Battery Cable**
    * 1970-1972 had no part# for the positive cable. The (+) wire was installed as part of the circuit breaker part#.
    * 1973-1977 XLCH
      * Battery (+) to regulator B+ (70029-73).
      * Battery (+) to main circuit breaker on 1977-1978 has no part number.
    * 1978 XLCH
      * Battery (+) to regulator B+ (70029-78).
      * Battery (+) to main circuit breaker on 1977-1978 has no part number.
  * **Negative Battery Cable**
    * 1970-E1978 XLCH (70295-70).
    * L1978 XLCH (70295-78).

**Note**: 1977-1978 factory wiring diagrams for both XL and XLCH show a second wire from the battery (+) to a main circuit breaker. \\
The main breaker (74599-77), later changed to (74599-77A), did not come with wires. \\
And it is only shown in the parts books for 1978 XL, XLCH. \\
The wire on the FSM diagrams does not have a part number in the parts books nor is it mentioned in them. \\
